1. Sign up at acobot.com.
2. Choose Settings from the main menu, and click Installation tab.
3. Copy the installation key, which is specific to your account.

1. Log into the administration area of your Joomla.
2. Choose Extensions - Install/Uninstall from the main menu.
   
    
   
3. Install Acobot extension from http://acobot.com/plugin/acobot_joomla15.zip.
   
    
   
4. Choose Extensions - Plugin Manager from the main menu.
   
    
   
5. Locate and click to edit plugin Acobot Live Chat Robot.
   
    
   
6. Provide the installation key as plugin parameter.
   
    
   
7. Save.

Acobot works same if you install it through Joomla template files. Note steps in this section are NOT necessary if you plan to install Acobot extension for Joomla.

1. Sign up or login at http://acobot.com.
2. Choose Settings from the main menu, and click Installation tab..
3. Copy the installation code, which is specific to your account.

1. Log in to the administration area.
2. Choose Extensions -Template Manager from the main menu.
3. Click Templates tab.
4. Select your current template.
5. Click on Edit main page template.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the editor panel.
7. Paste Acobot code above the </body> tag.
8. Save. Well done!
